Joshua Tree National Park is my favorite place to make exposures and is close to my home base being only an hour and a half away. What a real treat for the eyes and soul. Any time of year you can find subject matter. Either shooting grand vistas or a close up of a piece of worn wood the park holds mystery and intrigue around every rock and plant. Watch out: a mountain lion or snake might just be around the other side of that rock! And take plenty of water and sunscreen if you go.
